As a pioneer and market leader in the field of automated wire processing
Profil

As a pioneer and market leader in the field of automated wire processing, Komax provides its customers with innovative and sustainable solutions for any situation that calls for precise contact connections. Komax manufactures series and customer-specific machinery, catering for every degree of automation and customization. Its range of quality assurance modules, test systems and intelligent networking solutions complete the portfolio and ensure safe and efficient production. Komax concentrates primarily on four market segments: automotive, aerospace, telecom/datacom and industrial.

Global but local
Komax is a globally active Swiss company with production facilities in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa. It provides local sales and service support in more than 60 countries through subsidiaries and independent representatives. This provides Komax with a unique global presence and allows it to efficiently and competently serve its local and global customers at all times, thus ensuring the availability and value of their investments after equipment commissioning through standardized service processes. Proximity to its customers as well as short reaction and delivery times play a decisive role in its success, which explains why Komax has been consistently applying the motto “global but local” for years.

Over 40 years of experience
Since 1975, Komax has grown from a 3-man business to a group with about 40 companies and more than 2,000 employees. Back in 1981, the company's founder Max Koch initiated the expansion abroad with the founding of Komax USA, and has continued to pursue this expansion ever since. Komax has established itself as a market and technology leader in recent decades thanks to its continuous development of innovative, novel solutions for automated wire processing. As a result of several acquisitions in recent years, Komax has entered the market with five additional brands: Artos, Kabatec, Laselec, Thonauer and TSK.
