Sécheron's expertise in this particular field started in 1990 while developing the first AC vacuum Circuit Breaker type BVAC, aiming to be the successor of the well known Air Blast Breaker type DBTF. Since that time the product has been continuously upgraded and improved to meet the different standards and market requirements.
In 2007, Sécheron has launched on the market a new range of AC Vacuum Circuit-Breakers named MACS which gather the functions of Circuit-Breaker, Earthing Switch and Lightning Arrester and can be equipped either with an electric operating device (pneumatic air free) or with an electro-pneumatic one.
